bizpay & Airbus
Airbus and bizpay are working together to enable airlines to accept payment by instalment for air travel.
We are delighted to announce that we will be making monthly payments for flights available direct to travellers via a new direct channel - www.payaway.io. Effective from July 2019, we will be offering travellers in the UK the ability to send us flight details and receive a quote for that flight to be paid over time with instalments. We hope that this will be able to address some of the considerable demand which we have seen in the European market from travellers for our service.
Airbus, the global aerospace corporation is pleased to announce that bizpay will work with Airbus to perfect their ideas for the aerospace industry. bizpay, a fintech company from the UK, enables consumers to pay in monthly instalments rather than one lump sum.
Talks are already underway between bizpay, airlines and travel providers to implement the bizpay API in their web booking systems. “Working with Airbus has helped ease our access to clients and allowed us to refine our B2B2C model.” says Ben Francis, bizpay CEO.
Watch Sid Rajeswaran, bizpay COO and Bruno Gautierres, Head of Airbus BizLab explain more:
The Airbus program takes a hybrid approach, bringing together external companies and so-called intrapreneurs at Airbus, who work together to ensure that their innovations are market ready. Being accepted into the programme, these new companies join an illustrious group of 56 projects that have already graduated.
The BizLab program is an integral part of the Airbus innovation strategy. As such, it serves as a petri dish for new ideas in the aerospace industry. This way, young companies can be fully integrated into a global company right from the start.
